It is challenge time over on the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog. Our hostess for the month, Julene was inspired by the pennant puffy stickers in our inspiration kit for challenge number two. So this time we are embellishing with pennants! Before we go much further, let’s take another peek at the inspiration kit from Citrus Twist Kit called Travelogue Life from April of this year.
I created lots of pennants by hand cutting them and heat embossing on them. You can see that process in my previous post.
Since I had plenty of embellishments to work with this layout came together pretty quickly. I did end up creating MORE pennants to add a bit of balance to the layout. I cut them and then simply traced them with a white gel pen. I intended to add some embossing detail to them, but for some reason my powder wasn’t sticking. So I ditched that idea and just left them with some “watermark” detail instead. It isn’t showing up well, but such is the way of cameras and lighting sometimes.
